Voluntary Tylenol Recall
McNeil, the parent company of Tylenol,
issued a voluntary recall of some of their
products on September 18, 2009.
A portion of the raw material used in the
preparation of one of the inactive ingredients
did not meet internal testing standards.
McNeil states that none of this raw material
was used in the manufacture of any finished
product. McNeil also has stated that
"No bacteria has been detected in finished
product and the finished product has met
all specifications."
